We are back with some post-holiday sneak peeks! We’ve got lots of things to share with you…and first we wanted to start with a sneak peek from Mandy and Ryan’s sweet Tanglewood wedding. They got ready for their wedding at the Tanglewood Manor House, tied the knot under the old oak tree, followed by a reception at the big red barn.
Mandy’s bouquet was simple, classic, and beautiful – created by Beverly’s of Midway, and accented by a memory charm.
The bridesmaids helped her get ready, and they had fun listening to some tunes!
And their shoes were so pretty – I loved the jeweled accent on the silver shoes, that went with their bridesmaids’ dresses so perfectly.
Mandy wore her white Converse shoes down the aisle, a perfect way to show her playful, fun personality.

She got ready in one of the Manor House rooms, and was nervous but excited!
So we waited to tell her (with a little help from one of her bridesmaids and her brother…) that we hung her wedding dress from the chandelier for a stunning image of the lace detail and the swirl of the staircase. Her dress was so perfect for her – I loved the simplicity of the lines of the dress coupled with the detail of the lace overlay (from Bridal Mart).
Meanwhile, her grandfather sat on the front steps…he doesn’t like to be photographed so we had to sneak a few here and there!
Her bridesmaids finished getting ready…
While Mandy did some last-minute makeup touch-ups…
Then it was time to get in her dress! Her mom pinned her “something blue” handkerchief inside her dress.
And then we had a few more last-minute touch-ups…
With some help from her bridesmaids (whose beautiful dresses were from Christopher’s Formal Wear)…
And she was ready to go…eagerly anticipating the wedding ceremony! But first, she wanted to see her Dad. He couldn’t wait to see his little girl on her wedding day!
It was an emotional moment for everyone.
One more look in the mirror, to check to make sure that her mascara was still in place after a few tears…
And then it was time to place her garters and get ready for her big day!
Getting ready, of course! One of the things that they love to tease Ryan about is how long it takes him to get ready. So, we gave him plenty of room in the schedule to make sure he wasn’t rushed.
I love all the antique and decorative mirrors on the Tanglewood Manor House – perfect for getting ready images! I loved his non-traditional charcoal suit (from VIP Formalwear).
His mom helped pin his boutonniere, and he returned the favor.
I loved how full and beautiful the roses were – the red hues on the edges of the yellow-orange rose were perfect accents for this Fall wedding. As always, Beverly created beautiful floral pieces for the wedding!
Once everyone was pinned up and ready to go…it was time for the wedding ceremony!
Stay tuned … that part’s coming soon!

[...] Here’s another sneak peek from Mandy and Ryan’s sweet Tanglewood wedding. They loved the idea of an image of a door separating them prior to the wedding…and since they were getting married under the oak tree, it seemed appropriate to update that just a tad by using a tree on the front lawn of the Tanglewood Manor House. You might remember seeing Mandy and Ryan just a few days ago on our blog with their getting ready moments. [...]
