Outdoor Wedding Photography: Loving It!

Blue Sky Wedding

What a beautiful day for a wedding!

Flower Girl Petals

The cutest little flower girl did her job well.

Oh my goodness, Beth Ann and Jon had a gorgeous day! The skies were blue, and the mood was light and fun. Beth Ann and Jon aren’t your typical couple…they aren’t looking for the traditional posed photography that makes a wedding album stale. In fact, most of their bridal and family formals were spent laughing and joking with their friends and family, and the energy of the day was so easily captured in those moments.

If you know me, you know that I love outdoor weddings and I love a unique perspective. When I met with Beth Ann and Jon, I knew that they were a good fit for SSP. The fun, slightly off-beat, natural, quirkiness of their perspective fit perfectly with those same qualities in my style and personality.

We traveled to Magnolia Manor in Warrenton to celebrate this couple’s day, where their ceremony was poignant, sweet, and “them” – as were all the details they chose for the day. Her lace-trimmed veil, the butterflies on the decorations, and his father’s hand-made arbor were unique accents for a day that could only say “Beth Ann and Jon” to all who attended.

Beth Ann and Jon, thank you for letting me be a part of your day – I can’t wait to show you the rest of your photos!
