Yes, it’s all about the dress! Rachel’s beautiful strapless dress had just the right accents – the pleats in the front were a beautiful addition to a standard strapless top to add interest, detail, and that special wow factor. The appliques and beading sparkled as she walked down the aisle.
Her mother’s antique cameo ring is a family heirloom, and Rachel was honored to wear it on her wedding day. It’s over 100 years old, and fit beautifully.
The bridesmaids’ black tea-length dresses (from David’s Bridal) with red satin heels and Rachel’s red rose bouquet (Dream Catchers Florist) added a dramatic flair to their Fall wedding and the pop of color was fabulous. The bridesmaids’ dresses even had pockets in them – perfect for holding the bouquets in this image!
They made sure to keep it “them” though – Rachel and Wes both wore red Converse sneakers on their wedding day. I loved the mix of dramatic with playful, casual with flirty, and tradition with modern.
Congrats, Wes and Rachel, on your wedding and on keeping a little tradition, a little modern, a lot of unique, and a lot of “you” on your wedding day at Woodmill Winery!
