These little Chihuahuas came to me by way of pet photography mini-sessions! A local salon (Beach N Tans) held mini pet portrait sessions for their clients – it was so much fun! From little to big, there were lots of happy ears and wagging tails. We even had one birthday boy (more about him in a later post…)
Slinky the Chihuahua is outgoing and extroverted, and always camera-ready for his pet portrait…
He has expressive eyes and a beautiful tri-color coat. He jumped right in my arms and let me carry him to the portrait area. My heart melted and I cuddled him right up (shhh…don’t tell my dogs!).
Angel the Chihuahua is just a little shy and reserved, and her ears tend to hide just a bit when she’s nervous! She did so well for being at a new place, with new people, and all kinds of new things to figure out! This pet portrait with her foot held up and her ears back just makes me smile. She looks so cute!
But, of course, we needed a portrait of this sweet chihuahua with ears up for Mom! Yep, I was up for the task – I love animals, have volunteered at countless shelters and animal rescue organizations, and don’t mind just playing a bit to get them comfortable with me. As a pet photographer, you have to go where the session takes you…and Angel finally gave us this stunning black and white portrait of her beautiful ears and face. Love it!
