Erica is a whole lot of sweet and a whole lot of sassy! For her bridal portrait session, we wanted to highlight both parts of her personality – and so expression and posing were key. She loved the idea of doing something different for her bridal portrait session; and if you know me, then you know I did too!
She still wanted to keep some traditional elements, though, like highlighting her cathedral-length veil that her mother made, and our vintage room in the studio was the perfect place for that part of her bridal session.
We then headed out in downtown Mocksville to have the textures of brick and wood as a backdrop for her session. She knew she wanted to have some portraits without her veil, and I loved this one where she looked down and laughed at something her matron of honor said.
Her bridal portrait selection was this sweet but a little sassy portrait with the brick background – I love how it showed her hair accessory and the beautiful overlay of her wedding dress.
We sassed it up even more with a little hair flip…
And, of course, a full-length image that had some spunk!
