Ellie is one lucky little girl – this rescue dog has found a comforting, fabulous home with Jamie and Luke as their sweet girl. Now it’s time for baby to make four…of course we have to include Ellie in the family count! ๐ Jamie and Luke are adding a baby boy to the family!
Their little boy is so lucky already – you can tell how much his parents love him even before he’s born, and Luke’s already put aside his toddler cowboy boots waiting on those little baby boy feet. They had just gone for their 3D/4D ultrasound that day, and what a neat time to photograph the maternity session. The comparison of how baby is growing just at the time that the maternity session is photographed is a sweet addition to their baby book.
Their vintage-inspired session was held on the family farm, and I was like a kid in a candy store! The foothills of Mount Airy and the Fall leaves, combined with all the fun things a farm has to offer – it was so much fun!
Thisย was one of the first frames I shot for their maternity session, and I loved it right then and there. One of their favorite things about the landscape is the driveway leading out into the fields and trees, and I totally agree. It’s such a striking location – it’s got a great combination of feeling rustic, vintage, and intimate all at the same time.
We had a little fun, too! Luke and Jamie compared bellies – so cute. ๐
Jamie is just gorgeous! And she’s such a trooper – at 31 weeks she hung in there for her session like a champion. You could tell how important to both her and Luke it was to document this time in their lives, and I am honored to be a part of their maternity session as well as their Watch Me Grow program for baby’s first year.
One last one to end on … such a sweet, comforting image and I love how blue Jamie’s eyes are, and how serene she looks.
Thank you, Jamie and Luke, for trusting me to create something beautiful for you – and for being total rock stars through your session. ๐
