Bethabara First Look: Katie and Nathan’s Unique Wedding

Katie and Nathan recently tied the knot with a small, intimate wedding. We kicked off their wedding day at Bethabara Park in Winston Salem.

We had a little drizzle on their wedding day, and I loved the look on Nathan’s face as he waited for his bride to arrive and looked out into the sky for rain.

His boutonniere was striking with the orange flame calla lily against his blue tie. Katie planned her flowers and then had assistance from a close friend and fabulous florist, Talley’s Flower Shop in King.

I also loved the jeweled accent on her dress…she chose a very simple, elegant wedding dress that looked so beautiful on her with just the right touch of sparkle.

Nathan waited patiently…

And then it was time to see his bride for the first time on their wedding day!

They were both all smiles and laughter, and so excited to get married!

I know I’ve said it before, but I love first looks – the emotion, intensity, and beauty of the moment is gorgeous.
