Katie and Nathan’s first look at Bethabara Park in Winston Salem was sweet and fun, just like them! We stayed at Bethabara a bit longer so that we could photograph some “Katie and Nathan Moments” as well as family formals. I loved this candid photograph of the grandparents chatting while they waited their turn for the family formals.
Katie’s wedding shoes ROCKED. They were so absolutely gorgeous! I loved that they were teal, with vintage accents and a peep toe style.
They looked amazing atop the hay bales with her wedding bouquet.
Talley’s Flower Shop in King did a wonderful job on the floral design.
They danced underneath the shelter, and had a few moments alone before they headed to their ceremony.
Such a beautiful couple!
And so playful! Katie is an amazing DIY bride – she made so many accents for their wedding day. There were creative and intricate details galore, and do-it-yourself was done so well!
These His and Hers signs, made by Katie, cracked me up when paired with a look from Nathan and a giggle from Katie!
I also loved the message behind the Me / You signs – one of the most important parts of marriage is to be his and hers, but also me and you – to be forever, and yet to always remember to keep your individuality as well as your couple-ness (yes, that’s a word…) – I loved that His and Hers were also Me and You, and that Katie thought to make all of these for some fun photography!
And last but not least…Katie’s hand-made DIY signs also included “and” with their date. Katie and Nathan, 9-24-2011. What a beautiful day!
Congratulations, Katie and Nathan! More sneak peeks coming soon!
