Maggie and Jonathan recently were married on the Old Salem bridge, and had a beautiful reception at Brookstown Inn.
We headed to Old Salem and Salem College in Winston-Salem, NC for Maggie’s fall bridal portraits. The glimmer of leaves turning to yellow and orange in the background make me smile. Fall is my favorite time of year – and it adds such depth and color to bridal portraits!
We used some of her favorite wedding elements for the portraits as well, including the blue antique lantern that was displayed on their cake table at the wedding reception.
Maggie has an incredible love for books, and as a teacher, that’s a plus! 🙂 Good Boy, Fergus! is a favorite, and it reminds me of her little Harley from the engagement session.
Maggie was so relaxed and beautiful, seated by the pond.
We also photographed at Main Hall, with the large white columns, to show the back of her dress and all the beautiful lace detail.
Maggie loves her Toms! She wore wedge Toms for the wedding ceremony, and changed to lace flat Toms for the reception.
The bridal bouquet! I love the blue hydrangea flowers, and the white ribbon hand-tie.
Maggie’s hair and makeup were done by Teased Hair and Beauty – Zenaida was the expert stylist!
Thank you, Maggie and Jonathan, for choosing Simply Southern Photography for your wedding day, engagement portraits, and bridal portraits! It was a joy to work with you!
