Congratulations to Erica and Josh, who had a beautiful wedding and tied the knot in King, NC!
We headed to Bethabara Park in Winston-Salem, NC for her bridal portrait session. I love the combination of floral and rustic in the spring time.
The pink tulip trees were in full bloom, and the sun came down perfectly golden around Erica and her daughter.
I loved that she incorporated her baby girl into the portraits…and it just can’t get any cuter than baby feet.
Her dog, Harley, was the gentlest pup. It was clear how much he loves his mama!
What a sweetie!
Of course, we photographed her by herself as well…including in front of Bethabara’s antique barn.
Erica has her “smize” down pat…and I loved how the combination of her pose, beauty, and elegance contrasted against the rustic texture of the barn. Truly rustic luxe!
And, of course, we had to have some fun – a playful portrait showing off her boots as she walked!
Bethabara’s church gave a striking background to the bridge in the woods…
And I loved this vintage glam portrait of her on the bridge.
We had more traditional poses – with lots of smiles …
And kept it fresh & modern with landscapes and posing.
Her baby girl, L, was a trooper!
And cuddled in with mama as we ended the session.
Thank you to her family and friends for helping us have a great session…and thank you to Erica and Josh for choosing Simply Southern Photography for your wedding and bridal portraits! It was so much fun to be a part of your day – and we were honored to feel like part of your “extended family” through this journey.
